We are delighted to announce Sharp and Strong Steel Buildings sponsor local Cricket Club, which means we have become the new main club sponsor for our local cricket club in Watlington.
Last year we sold composite roof sheets to a local builder and with the profit made from that job we decided to do some local sponsorship.
This is the first time we have decided to do any sort of sponsorship as we have lived in Watlington for over 12 years. Having an established business within the community we were asked by our local cricket club to sponsor them so we agreed.
We donated a bespoke steel Mobile Batting Cage, superior to those found at county venues! Along with the top of the range Mobile Wicket Covers and Sheets. cricket club team members also have new trousers and t-shirts kindly donated by us too.

All items have now been handed over to the cricket club and we presented them with a certificate last month.
We have had experience with other crickets clubs within Oxfordshire designing and erecting steel framed buildings.
Tractor Shed Steel Building
Tractor storage steel framed building which was erected for a local cricket club in Blewbury
Cricket Club Storage Shed
This steel framed building measured 8 meters wide x 10 meters long and 2.5 meters to the eaves. Single skin Olive Green cladding on the roof and walls. Also included was an anti-condensation lining in the roof.
1 roller shutter at each gable end and one personal access door to the side elevation.
It only took 4 days to erect this building. After the storage shed was erected the client then built a block-work wall inside the building for added security.
